# Editor X 1.6.1 "Unable to check license" error when using Runner 1.11.0 and up

I was seeing the same problem here: [EditorX license not working after updating Runner](https://forum.opentap.io/t/editorx-license-not-working-after-updating-runner/2181)

I never did get back to trying again, so I guess it is still a problem.
