SCPI command responce - Evaluating result

Hi There.

I have a generic SCPI Oscilloscope I’m trying to figure out how to use in my test.
Using the “Basic Step → SCPI” function in openTap (With keysight GUI) I can send the SCPI message to the scope and I get a nice reply back : MEAN,1.02E+01

Since i asked for the Mean measurement on channel 1 and I have a 10V DC input connected to it, then the SCPI reply looks ok.
My question is how can I set a verdict on this result or more accurate a lower and upper limit check ?

Hope someone can help me figure this out.

Hey,

For our implementation we made a separate validation test step. Since, for example, a simple min-max validation is not always what you are looking for.
In general at our place chose not to do validation of values in measuring test steps.
