We found an issue regarding Editor X v1.1.2 unable to use local license. A workaround is available, just set environment variable LM_LICENSE_FILE to "@localhost" after installing the local license.
A patch is working in progress. The patch will work in Redhat 7.8 and Ubuntu 18.04 without the env var workaround but not Ubuntu 20.04. If you are using Ubuntu 20.04, please continue to use the env var.
